BESPOKE WORK
The Bespoke journey can be such a wonderful and memorable experience - When commissioning a piece of bespoke, handmade jewellery with La Nuit, you will get to work directly with me (Sabrina) to create your very personal and symbolic treasures.
I will delicately imbue my work with your personal storytelling and memories, resulting in something quite unique: a stunning one-of-a-kind piece created just for you.
Whether you are wishing to mark a special occasion or simply treat yourself, the bespoke journey will allow us to work closely together and bring special treasures to life.
My rings are all individually made using specially selected sapphires, rubies or diamonds making each piece quite unique.
This is absolutely my favourite part, where things become extra meaningful and pieces are enriched with personal stories and memories.
Initial Contact: First, let's start with an informal chat via zoom, email or a consultation at my studio in the Goldsmiths' Center in London. At this first stage we can discuss design, stone sourcing, metal colours and karat, budget and timescales.
Stone Sourcing : Stones are at the heart of my work and can add so much meaning to your dream piece! If you would like to incorporate them into your ring, there are a couple of options we can discuss. You can choose from a selection of gems held at my studio, or if there is a specific gem that you have in mind, I will be able to contact my trusted stone dealers and source it for you.
Wax Model: Once the initial contact has been made and the stones are sourced, I will be able to make up a wax model of your piece of jewellery. This is the creative part where we can have a bit of fun making something extra special.
Deposit: To proceed with a bespoke wax model, a 50% deposit is requested before the production can begin. The remainder will then need to be paid in full before collection or dispatch of the order.
I will send you work in progress pictures of the wax so you can approve it or make final changes before the piece is transformed into metal forever.
Prices: Bespoke work prices start at £700 for simple designs without stones (or teeny tiny ones!) and £1200 for rings with precious gemstones (sapphires, rubies etc..).
For custom diamond pieces (with stones larger than 3mm), prices will start at around £1800.
Making time : For custom pieces the time scale is usually 8-12 weeks, although I will always do my best to accommodate your deadlines.
